A down-to-earth Southern girl with a passion for nourishing the mind, body, and soul through food as medicine, she grew up in the small community of Wynne, Arkansas. After completing her undergraduate studies in Fayetteville, Arkansas, she moved to Memphis to pursue her Dietetic Internship and Master’s program. While there, she completed a graduate assistantship at St. Jude Children’s Hospital, working with the Bone Marrow Transplant team.
Love led her back to Arkansas, where she built a home in Little Rock with her husband. During her 12-year tenure at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, she and her husband started a family. Life took an unexpected turn when her husband was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition, and she faced her own health challenges. Through functional medicine, she discovered a misdiagnosed autoimmune disease and quickly realized the profound impact of stress management and nutrition. This revelation shifted her focus to women’s health and wellness, leading her to become the first Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner in Arkansas.
When she’s not working with clients or creating wholesome, delicious recipes in her kitchen, she enjoys spending time with her son, painting with her daughter, making memories with her husband, practicing yoga, paddle boarding, or getting lost in a good book.
